Reiki is for Everyone
Our bodies have an incredible, natural ability to heal themselves—but sometimes they need a gentle nudge in the right direction. Reiki offers exactly that: a way to reconnect to a universal source of energy that supports balance, restoration, and flow.
You don’t need to be “gifted” to learn Reiki. Anyone can do it. The lineage of Reiki is passed directly from teacher to student, keeping the energy and ethics of this practice intact. At Nurturing Folk, we teach Usui Reiki, the original and powerful frequency of universal energy passed down from Dr. Usui himself.
Teaching groups are small so that each student receives personal attention, guidance, and support in their journey.
Reiki 1 - First Level Usui Training
This is where your journey begins. Reiki 1 is all about self-healing—learning to connect with Reiki energy, understanding how it flows, and beginning to use it for yourself, your loved ones, animals, and plants. In this one-day training you will: •Learn the history and principles of Reiki •Receive your Reiki 1 attunement •Explore hand positions for self-treatment and treating others •Discover how to sense, channel, and trust Reiki energy •Practice giving and receiving Reiki in a safe, supportive space After your training, you’ll begin a 21-day self-healing practice, supported by a WhatsApp group for accountability and sharing. At the end of this integration, you’ll receive your Reiki 1 certificate, which qualifies you to offer Reiki for yourself, friends, family, and pets.
Reiki 2: Practitioner Level
Reiki 2 deepens your practice and opens the door to working professionally with others (if you choose to). It expands your connection to energy, strengthens your intuition, and allows you to work with Reiki in more profound ways. In this training you will: •Learn the sacred Reiki symbols and how to use them in healing •Explore distant healing—sending Reiki across time and space •Work with Reiki for healing past events and situations •Strengthen your energetic sensitivity and ability to hold space for others •Explore ways to weave Reiki into your daily life and practice •Understand professional considerations for offering Reiki as a practitioner You will receive your Reiki 2 attunement, practice these new techniques, and develop confidence in your ability to channel Reiki energy. As with Level 1, you’ll complete a 21-day integration of self-healing and practice, supported by a group container. At the end, you’ll receive your Reiki 2 certificate, qualifying you to practice Reiki professionally if you wish.
Reiki 3: Master & Teacher Training
Reiki 3 is the deepest initiation, strengthening your connection to Reiki energy and preparing you to pass on this lineage to others if you feel called. This level is both a personal spiritual deepening and, for some, a step into becoming a Reiki Master Teacher. In this training you will: •Receive the Master attunement and learn the Master symbol •Deepen your spiritual and energetic practice with advanced techniques •Explore how to hold energy in larger spaces, groups, and teaching settings •Learn how to attune others to Reiki, should you choose to teach •Step fully into your own path as a Reiki practitioner, teacher, or lineage holder Reiki 3 is less about “finishing” and more about beginning a lifelong relationship with Reiki as a guiding force in your life and work.
